Welcome to The Treasury – Independent Homeware & Gift Shop in Budleigh Salterton, Devon. I’m Jen, one of the co-founders.

Like so many in 2020, during Covid, we found ourselves deeply grateful for the comfort of our homes. I know I certainly had the time to rediscover the joy in simple pleasures. That renewed enjoyment and appreciation for thoughtful design and everyday rituals inspired the creation of The Treasury.

Originally founded by myself and a friend, The Treasury has grown and evolved. In 2025, Laura moved on to new ventures,  but with the help of a small but mighty team, I now run the business independently, curating our collection with the same passion and careful attention to detail that shaped it from the beginning.

At The Treasury, we offer a carefully selected range of beautifully designed homeware, home décor, and unique gifts in Budleigh Salterton. From hand made ceramics and candles to practical items that simply add value to your daily life. Every product is chosen for its quality, craftsmanship, and longevity.

I have a degree in ceramics, and an MA from the Royal College of Art, and I’m also a level 3 florist. I hope that means I can say I bring a trained eye for form, texture, and colour to every piece I source.

The Treasury is about helping you elevate your everyday — creating a home filled with things you love,  and offering carefully curated gifts that feel meaningful and personal.
